Studying of the Social Factors Influencing the Occurrence of Mass Quarrel in the Shahroud Township

Spreading violence and violent behavior in modern societies is a complicated problem that has unfavorable impacts on the daily life of the individual, family and community and it being root edits caused to much social chaos; the main objective of the paper has been "study of effective social factors in the occurrence of mass quarrel in the Shahroud Township." The research method was by measuring; statistical society based on presented statistics from applicable research center of Shahroud in total years between 1389-1390, 319 persons were participated in the mass quarrel and for protection of revealing identity of accused people, researcher is used chain sampling method of 90 persons among those quarreling that during these two years have done mass quarrel. Also, the measurement tools of this research were the questionnaire. The results showed that social control variables were significant: police (0/365 %=r), positive definition of quarrel (0/322% =r) at the one per cent level and individual’s physics (0/234 %=r) at the 5 per cent level. However, parental social control variables (0/253 %=r -) showed negative and significant correlation with the mass quarrel. Also, the independent variables, computer games, action movies and employment condition showed no significant association to the dependent variable.
