In the teachings of the Qur'an, after Allah, human being is considered as the most fundamental issue. In issues related to human beings, education is especially important for people with special needs (exceptional children) and has a high status. In this study, which is of descriptive and document-analytical type, the principles of education of students with special needs and the basics resulting from these principles have been studied from the perspective of the Qur'an. These principles include paying attention to the human dignity of people with special needs, human beings having a common nature and different characteristics, human free will and the two principles of justice as the most basic social value and the supplementary goodness of justice. In this study, verses related to each of these principles were searched in the Holy Qur'an and in addition to describing the current conditions of education of students with special needs, their educational principles were examined from the perspective of the Qur'an and along with explanations related to each principle, verses with themes related to them were given in the study. Studies have indicated that for each of the principles of education of students with special needs, many verses are mentioned in the Holy Qur'an and the education of students with special needs today is very much in line with the teachings of this heavenly book by moving towards comprehensive education.
