Indicators for evaluating the strategic management of the police in the prevention of female victimization
Today, the conditions and environment of police activity have become more complex, changing and expanding. To respond to these challenges, police organizations need a system of evaluating new strategies to be able to adapt to changes in the environment and respond very quickly to the needs of constantly changing environment. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to identify indicators for evaluating the strategic management of the police in preventing female victimization.
In terms of the purpose of the present study, it is applied and from the methodological point of view, it is a qualitative research that has been carried out by content analysis. The research community consisted of police experts, the Ministry of Interior, university professors, judges, the Education Organization, the Welfare Organization, and the Prisons Organization, and based on the theoretical saturation principle, the sample size reached 14 people. Data were collected through semi-structured qualitative interviews and Max Cody 11 software was used to analyze the data.
Indicators of Strategic Police Management Evaluation in the Prevention of Female Injury, in the form of 2 main themes (performance evaluation and effectiveness evaluation) and 11 sub-themes(Labor productivity, capital productivity, employee cost productivity, energy efficiency, customer satisfaction, service impact on the environment, facilitation of current affairs, employee satisfaction, public access to services, customer trust, Reliability) was identified.
The use of performance appraisal and effectiveness evaluation indicators in strategic police management can lead to greater effectiveness of this program.
