Abstract:

hidden proportions in the tower tombs of the eighth and ninth centuries AH in Mazandaran, IranAbstract:The Pre Islamic period tombs (Madian-akamide-Ashkanies) are characterized by Carved in rock burial sites, Estodan (bone place: where human bodies were left in special Places in open air refer to Zoroastrian religious beliefs) and such but post Islamic burial sites specially belonging to Samani period are known as Islamic-Iranian architect. Various styles of tombs were built in different area and history of Iran among Mashhad city, Qom, Rey and Tabarestan region (today, Mazandaran province). Tabarestan has many famous tombs descendants of Shiei Islamic imams (similar to saint in Christianity) As such are Imamzadeh Yahya in Sari city, Imamzadeh Ibrahim in Amoul city and Imamzadeh Qasem in babol city. Within 8-9 century H-GH mentioned imamzadeh tombs became amore famous destination amoung Moslem pilgrimage. Local people also have built other tombs related to their own asendants which some are still present today. In 9 century (h-Gh) many tombs were made with eight angles walls and triangular exteriors. These structures became the main model in Tabarestan.The structure of this kinds of thombs had a bigger floor than Saljouqi (dynasti-period) towers and many of them were built in the period of 9 century (h-GH). As such are Sari city imamzadeh Saleh, Shams-E All-E Rasoul in Amoul city and Etc... .In Safavi dynasty Shieie spreaded out through the country and thomb architecture became specificaly related to religous figures. In Qajar daynasty many of these thombs in Mazandaran were renovated, rehabilitated and extended in size. After Qajar in Pahlavi dynasty, renovation and rehabilitation of such structures did not follow any specific architectural method. Shams-E all-E Rasoul in Amoul city is a unique sample of such old structure in mentioned region. This structure is located in amul city Gonbadein teritory.
