In this regard, the use of this technology in fingerprinting can provide new and scientific solutions to detect and improve hidden fingerprints. The main question of this research is what is the application of nanotechnology in fingerprinting? As a result, nanoscience has developed a variety of materials for achieving hidden fingerprints, including nanomaterials, oxide nanoparticles, fluorescent nanoparticles, and nanomaterials converted to rare earth ions (UCNM). The advantages of these materials over the old methods are high differentiation, high sensitivity, high selectivity and low toxicity.
