Abstract:

Nanotechnology is a science that is advancing rapidly. One of the fields of development of this technology is criminal science, which has led to the development of new methods to combat crime; Therefore, due to the great capabilities of nanotechnology in fast and accurate detection and detection, it has promised that in the near future, with the help of this technology, more effective steps will be taken to prevent crime and identify violators. In this regard, the use of this technology in fingerprinting can provide new and scientific solutions to detect and improve hidden fingerprints. The main question of this research is what is the application of nanotechnology in fingerprinting? As a result, nanoscience has developed a variety of materials for achieving hidden fingerprints, including nanomaterials, oxide nanoparticles, fluorescent nanoparticles, and nanomaterials converted to rare earth ions (UCNM). The advantages of these materials over the old methods are high differentiation, high sensitivity, high selectivity and low toxicity.
