Evaluation of the status of green hospital indicators in public hospitals in Rasht

Hospitals around the world strive to innovate in patient care while maintaining high quality standards. In implementing this innovation, hospitals are impacting the natural environment; therefore, in order to reduce the harm to patients and the surrounding communities and the natural environment, hospital managers formulate management programs in the field of energy conservation, disposal of medical waste and safe drug management .Goal: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the status of green hospital indicators. This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of collecting information .

The sampling method in this study is census due to the limited statistical population. In each section, an average of 3 to 5 questionnaires were distributed and finally 210 questionnaires were used for final analysis. Questionnaire data collection tool and factor analysis method was used for analysis.

The results of confirmatory factor analysis confirmed the structural validity of all variables. The results of the research questions also indicated that all the variables of the research were desirable except for the two variables of water consumption reduction and drinking water supply and the physical location of the hospital.
