Analysis of the critical discourse of the speeches of Hashim bin Abdul Manafby Faircloughs method

Norman Fairclough is an emeritus Professor of Linguistics at Department of Linguistics and English Language at Lancaster University. He is one of the founders of critical discourse analysis as applied to social linguistics. This article examines Hashim ibn abd manafand his son 's sermons by Fairclough's Method. Those methods are: I. Describe II. Interpretation III. Explanation In this way we understand the text and Meta text. we can see by Fairclough's Method Social, political and cultural relations and the recipient sees their impact on the text or speech. It can be said that Hashim bin Abdul Manaf, the owner of “Elaf Quraish”, is strengthening his political leadership.
