Abstract:
Safe and quality training of new military students is one of the main challenges of military education centers. In this regard, one of the risky and important trainings of the military forces is shooting skills. Due to the dangers of shooting with real bullets, many military education centers use training and shooting without real firing. However, the results of scientific studies and field surveys indicate that these methods of training are recommended only as a complementary method, and training with real weapons in battlefields is always emphasized. Hence, one of the most dangerous places for military education centers is their weapons training fields. This study aims to provide a solution for shooting field risk management in a scientific way for beginner shooters. For this purpose, a hybrid model based on risk assessment was presented by methods of job safety analysis and failure modes analysis and its effects consisting of ten main steps. Then, the risk assessment of the shooting mission of a military higher education center in the shooting field of G-3 was studied. To this end, first, the shooting process was divided into five main stages; Then the ten steps of the proposed model were run. Finally, 29 risks were identified to carry out the G-3 shooting mission, and finally, appropriate control measures were provided to manage each of these hazards.
