The Islamic Revolution and Creating School Thought: A Case Study of the Martyr Qasem Soleimani’s Thought School
Most research on the Iranian revolution has focused on either its political implications at home or its reflections at the regional level. One of the neglected aspects in these researches is the role that the Islamic Revolution of Iran has played in creating school thought.(Necessity of research) The article explains the important role that the Iran Revolution has played in creating school thought and one of its later examples, the school of Shahid Soleimani. (Research Objective) The main question of the research is how creating school was formed in the Islamic Revolution of Iran and what are the characteristics of the school of Martyr Ghasem Soleimani as a later example? The research hypothesis refers to the role of Imam Khomeini in creating school thought in the Islamic Revolution and introduces the school of Shahid Soleimani as a continuation of that way. (Hypothesis) The descriptive-analytical method was used to conduct the research. (Method) The research findings identified the following features for the school of Shahid Soleimani: love of martyrdom, courage and bravery, sincerity and religiosity, foresight, task-oriented, ethicism, serving the deprived, recognize enemy from the friend, and focus on the target. The findings also show that the continuation of the Islamic Revolution requires more attention to the issue of creating school and the promotion and expansion of the school of Imam Khomeini and Martyr Soleimani.
