Abstract:
COVID-19 has turned schooling into a universal large-scale experiment. We are at a defining moment for the world’s children and young people. Now we face a generational catastrophe that could waste untold human potential, undermine decades of progress, and exacerbate entrenched inequalities. COVID-19 has brought many existing patterns and trends to the surface. While some believe that the unplanned and rapid move to online learning – with no training, insufficient bandwidth, and little preparation – will result in a poor user experience that is unconducive to sustained growth, others believe that a new hybrid model of education will emerge, with significant benefits. Also, after Corona, traditional learning and e-learning can be used in combination.Some also believe that teachers can potentially have the greatest impact on reducing gaps in academic achievement. This article review the challenges and benefits of online learning and points to ways to improve the training process.
