In order to answer this question, the importance of the sensualist approach and a deeper understanding of the works of museums was expressed. The similarities between the two museums include the similarity of the physical and virtual museum space design. The more similar the virtual museum is to the physical museum, the more immersive the visitor will experience. The use of augmented reality in physical museums, which leads to more engagement of the audience with the works and the museum environment, is also one of the results of multisensory museums. Elimination of protection restrictions in virtual museums and improving access to different people, as well as the disabled from all over the world, are the differences between the two museums. Virtual museums use virtual reality technology and VR glasses to provide a new level of audience immersion in the environment, which greatly increases the audience's knowledge compared to the past. The importance of the sensitization approach in museums also became more important with the Corona virus epidemic in 2020, as access to physical museums was not possible and visits were limited to virtual visits, so the growth of virtual museums jumped. In this regard, virtual reality and augmented reality technologies were very effective in bringing the virtual experience of visiting the museum closer to the real experience.
