A Comparative Study of Fitrah and Fitrah-Based Knowledge in Divine Religions and Philosophy
Monotheistic Fitrah and Fitrah-based knowledge is the same divine Act (Fi’l) that is institutionalized in the soul of all human beings and is one of the commonalities of the teachings of all prophets and heavenly books. The surviving works of the great philosophers not only do not mention this knowledge, but also express the knowledge of God as an unknown thing and try to argue to prove the existence of God. Of course, they have not been successful in achieving this, and the arguments have been increasingly questioned, and it is very difficult to get out of the problems expressed. However, great people always consider figures such as Plato, Aristotle and Socrates and other great philosophers not only as monotheists, but also as apostles and saviors of humanity, though there is a difference in approach between prophets and philosophers. This article tries to clarify that contrary to the above claims, there is a difference in approach between the method of the divine prophets and the method of philosophers in knowing God.
