Modeling the herd behavior and decision of investors with the variable role of investor emotions

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of herd behavior on investment decision with the mediating role of investor emotions in the Iranian stock market. The statistical population of this research includes investors in stock markets in District 8 of Tehran. The present study, considering the effect of herd behavior on investment decision with the mediating role of investor emotions in the Iranian stock market, is in the category of causal research in terms of nature and method; the data required for this study using Questionnaires have been collected. The questionnaire used in this research has 25questions and the evaluation criterion for the questions of the present questionnaire is the five-point Likert scale; To analyze the data, the method of confirmatory factor analysis has been used to investigate the status of the designed indicators and their validation, and the technique of structural equations has been used to test the research hypotheses. It should be noted that in this section, the researcher has used LISEL software; the results showed that herd behavior affects investor feelings and investment decisions and also investor feelings affect investment decisions.
