Causes of Inadvertent Shooting of Staffs in Police Command of Mazandaran Province

Abstract:

The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating causes of inadvertent shooting of staffs in police command of mazandaran province. The purpose of this study is applied and the method of data collection is descriptive and survey type. This research is also considered correlation research in terms of the relationship between the two variables. The statistical population consisted of staff members of the Provincial Command Prevention Police officers and the data gathering tool was a researcher-made questionnaire about the causes of inadvertent shooting. The reliability of the questionnaire was evaluated using the Cronbach's alpha formula 0.83. The data are analyzed using descriptive and inferential methods including correlation coefficient test. The findings of the research indicate that between individual factors, laws, regulations, equipment and conditions, there is a direct and significant relationship. Also, the results of the research showed that there is not a meaningful relationship between the training factor and the inadvertent shooting.
