Sociological study of the causes of divorce according to the records of intervention centers in the Mazandaran province's family crisis

Abstract:

The purpose of the present study was to investigate and recognize the causes of divorce in patients referred to the social emergencies of Mazandaran province. The method of this study is survey type and in terms of the purpose of the research. The population of this study included all referrals to intervention centers in the family crisis in Mazandaran province. The statistical sample of the study includes all referrers to intervention centers in the family crisis in the cities of Noshahr, Babol, Ghaemshahr and Sari from 2010 to 1395, selected by cluster sampling. Data were collected by divorce questionnaire and evaluated through factor analysis and Friedman for ranking and clustering, respectively. Analysis is done by SPSS and Lisrel software. The findings of the study showed that there is a significant difference between the causes of divorce frequency in divorce applicants. According to the result, it can be stated that the cultural and personality characteristics of divorce applicants is the main factor of divorce, more than the other factors.
