Our assumption is that the escapes were affected by the shortage of labor in the country, the ease of migration of the subjects, as well as the conflict of interests of the owners and rulers of the regions of origin and destination of the escapes. The subjects also threatened to flee, trying to force the government to accept a wide range of their demands.
