The present study aimed to identify the rate and areas that citizens inclined to cooperate with the police in Boushehr Province. The study is descriptive in nature and makes use of survey method. The data were collected via two questionnaires. The participants of the study were the total population of Boushehr province as well as the police personal. However, only 1143 citizens and 147 police personal were selected via stratified sampling and entered the study. The data then were calculated via t-test and Freedman. Analysis of the results showed that people’s indifference to the currant affairs in the city is not above average. That is, people do not involve themselves with the existing problems in the society but are concerned with their own affairs. However, their inclination to cooperate with other people in the society, such as donation for constructing mosques, schools, bridges, reconstructing earthquakes-stricken houses and helping flood-stricken survivals etc., as well as helping others manually free of charge, were calculated to be above average. Furthermore, the results showed that people do not like to cooperate with NAJA in its decision making and planning, in such affairs as pursuing the criminals, helping the police to put watchful eye over the wrongdoers as well as discovering crimes. Neither do they show any interest to provide NAJA with the necessary financial sources. Such inclination was above average. However, their interest to help victims (compensation for the victim’ loss) was not above average.
