A study of the layered stylistics of Alavi poems after the Islamic Revolution

Abstract:

Alavi poetry is one of the branches of Ritual Poetry, in which life style and virtues ofImam Ali are reflected, and it is very important in terms of modeling a perfect human being. Theinvestigation of stylistic layers of this kind of poem leads us to a better understanding andinterpreting of it. Using new and religious words, objectivity of the words, and simple structureof sentences in most of cases, is one of the distinguished characteristics of this poetry. Rhythmand musical harmony of words, being nakedness of the words, the structure of interpretations,and being dynamic are other characteristics of this kind of poem. Therefore, to specify this stylewidely , language characteristics beside rhetorical characteristics ,and domains of poets’thoughts are investigated in parallel to access general goals. This article investigates the stylisticlayers of Alavi Poetry after the Islamic Revolution in descriptive - analytical method andreflects the evolution of the poems in four layers: phonetic, lexical, syntactic, and rhetorical.
