Analyze the effect of benevolent leadership on organizational citizenship behavior with emphasis on the mediating role of organizational accountability

Abstract:

In the current changing and changing situation, educational organizations have to pay enough attention to their human resources in order to achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness and ultimately to achieve better performance of employees. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of benevolent leadership on organizational citizenship behavior with emphasis on the mediating role of organizational accountability. The statistical population of the study consisted of all teachers of the first and second year of high school (Case study of teachers of Nazloo Education Department) in a volume of 110 people. The sampling method was census. Questionnaires were distributed among all teachers of Nazloo District Education Department and 95 questionnaires were collected. 15 questionnaires were not returned. In order to collect data, Standard Benevolent Leadership Questionnaire Based on Carcass and Sarglo (2012) Model, Standard Organizational Citizenship Behavior Questionnaire Based on Oregon and Kanowski Model (OCB) (1988), Standard Organizational Accountability Questionnaire Based on Johnson Model (2001). Validity of the questionnaires was verified using a convergent validity method with the standardized variance (AVE) and divergent validity with the Fornel - Larker criterion, as well as their reliability with Cronbach's alpha and based on the combined reliability. Data analysis at descriptive statistics level including descriptive demographic data and mean standard deviation, slope and elongation, using SPSS-22 software, and inferior statistics, using structural equation modeling (PLS) was performed using SmartPLS3 software. The results of the research hypothesis showed that: 1) benevolent leadership explains 46% percent of the changes in organizational citizenship behavior in a direct way. 2. More than 68% of the variance of organizational accountability is due to benevolent leadership. 3. Organizational accountability account for 20% of the changes in organizational citizenship behavior. 4. And it can be said that benevolent leadership has a significant indirect effect on organizational citizenship behavior with the mediating role of organizational accountability. in policy-making and planning of top managers, the educational system atmosphere would be to develop a favorable environment for the protection of teachers benevolent leadership, and that the values of work and human organizational accountability should be institutionalized in order to As a consequence, the opportunity for employees to provide staff with the support and encouragement of talented and innovative employees provides a good atmosphere for the growth of staff organizational citizenship behavior.
