Investigating the Effect of the Amount, Duration and Type of Internet use and National Identity on Students of Shiraz Azad University
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the amount, duration and type of Internet use and national identity in students of Shiraz Azad University
The present study was applied in terms of purpose and survey method in terms of research method. Questionnaire tools were also used to collect information. The statistical population includes all students of Shiraz Azad University, which according to the statistics obtained from the education of Shiraz Azad University is equal to 19619 people. In order to determine the sample size, Cochran's formula was used and according to the sample size calculations, 380 people were determined. Data analysis was performed using Spss statistical software and in this regard, statistical tests appropriate to each hypothesis were used to test the hypotheses. Among the tests used are Pearson correlation tests and one-way analysis of variance.
The results showed that there is a relationship between the duration of Internet use and national identity (three dimensions of value, emotional and belief) of students.
Also, there is a relationship between Internet use and national identity (three dimensions of value, emotional and belief) of students. On the other hand, the research hypothesis that there is a relationship between the type of Internet use and national identity (three dimensions of value, emotion and belief) of students is rejected
