Relationship between Conflict Management and Job Hardiness with Job Burnout of Khuzestan Radio and Television Employees
The present study was conducted on the relationship between conflict management and job hardiness with burnout of employees of Khuzestan Radio and Television. The present research is applied based on the purpose and also in terms of the type of field data collected. Finally, the present research is descriptive-correlational in terms of implementation. The statistical population of the employees of Khuzestan Radio and Television, which is 483 people and 214 people were selected using Morgan table and a simple random method for the sample size. Collection tools In this study, Tadim (1990) burnout questionnaire including 22; 15-item conflict management styles questionnaire by Robbins and Di Senzo (1998) and 17-item Mourinho-Jimenez hardiness questionnaire (1979). The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by the content validity with the opinion of the supervisor and experts. For reliability, Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used, which was 0.78 for each burn variable, 0.86 for conflict management and 0.80 for each variable, which indicated the appropriate validity of the questionnaires. Descriptive statistics methods (mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics methods (Pearson correlation coefficient and confirmatory factor analysis) are used to analyze the data of this study. Data were analyzed using SPSS software. The results showed that the correlation between competitive and avoidance management styles with burnout is positive and the correlation between cooperation styles, adaptation and compromise style is also negative with burnout. Based on the results, all correlation coefficients obtained between conflict management styles and burnout are negative. Occupation is significant at the alpha level of 0.01 (p <0.01). According to the results, the correlation between competitive and avoidance management styles with burnout is positive and the correlation between cooperation, adaptive and compromise styles is also negative with burnout. Also, all correlation coefficients obtained between job toughness and its components are negative with burnout and are significant at the alpha level (p <0.01). The negative correlation coefficients obtained indicate an indirect relationship between job hardiness and burnout.
