Investigating the FRAJA’s police staff clothing norm suitability in cold regions
The police force, as a social organization, is responsible for missions and tasks and has a lot of face-to-face communication with individuals. The most objective and tangible element in people's confrontation with the police is the element of clothing, which appears and even evokes mental association. The uniform of police personnel has an effective and undeniable role in the success or failure of law enforcement and military missions. Therefore, the question arises whether the clothing norm of employees are suitable for environmental conditions, especially cold environments? The purpose of this study was to investigate the suitability of FRAJA’s police staff clothing norm in cold regions.
This research is descriptive in nature and applied in terms of purpose, which is in the category of applied-developmental research and has been done descriptively and analytically. The research method was survey.
The findings in response to the main question, showed mismatch of clothing supply with communicated FRAJA’s police staff clothing norm in cold regions at 95% confidence level. Thus amount of planning and evaluation of clothing wasn’t compatible with communicated FRAJA’s police staff clothing norm in cold regions.
The results also showed there is incompatibility of supply, distribution, quality and quantity rate of clothing with communicated FRAJA’s police staff clothing norm in cold regions at a confidence level of 95%. Thus, the rate of supply, distribution, quality and quantity of clothing wasn’t compatible with communicated FRAJA’s police staff clothing norm in cold regions.
