Abstract:
Purpose
Citation analysis is one of the most important and valid methods for evaluating performance and research activities. The purpose of this study is to use this method for articles related to Covid -19 between 2020 and 2021.
Methodology
In this study, citation analysis method, 3499 citation status associated with covid -19 diseases exceeded the website of the Web of Science, between 2020 and 2021. Excel software has been used to analyze the data.
Findings
Of the 3499 citation, the most writer, Abdulhamid et al. The most detailed paper, Omega-3 Fatty Acids for the Primary ... and the most detailed theme or keywords related to Polyunsaturated Fatty-Acids; Chronic Heart-Failure, ... and the highest rate of citation for articles was also related to Article. Also, in examining the language of citations, citations were the most cited to English articles, and in the case of the citation process, 2020 were more cited than 2021.Discussion and
Conclusion
Citation analysis is a quantitative method of qualifying science in examining the status of references to resources, which is done correctly with full bibliographic information
