The Organizational Behavior Management Research with an Islamic Approach: A scoping Review
The central position of man in the organization has made the study area of organizational behavior one of the first areas of interest in organization and management studies, and as a main and basic area, it has always been the focus of researchers. Due to the impact of anthropological assumptions on the content of organizational behavior studies, along with the development of Islamic approaches in management studies, Islamic views in organizational behavior research have also been used and favored by researchers, the result of which is a significant amount of research in this field. Based on this, the aim of this research is to identify the approaches and trends in the research conducted in this field in the sphere of scientific society of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The research methodology includes the review of the selected domain and the investigated research of all scientific research articles published up to the time of conducting the research, and after refining the information, 279 articles were reviewed. The results show that the upward trend in the publication of research in this field - which started in the early 70s - reached its peak in 2015 with the publication of 39 articles, and unfortunately, this trend has been downward again. Also, according to the results of the research, the most dominant methodological approach in this research was the qualitative approach in the amount of 62% of the total research, and the most important topics in the research were ethics, leadership, motivation, and organizational culture. In terms of the sources used in the research, Nahj al-Balagha, the viewpoint of Islamic thinkers and the Holy Qur'an, respectively, have been used the most in compiling research in the field of Islamic organizational behavior.
