Design of an Operational Model for Measuring the Readiness and Maturity of Transformability in Organizations Case Study: SabaNoor-e-Golestan
Transformability, variability and improvement are necessary for organization's survival and long living. The maturity of transformability and good perception of changes are the causes that well-known corporations and brands like Mercedes, Ford and General Electric, survived for a near century. The main goal of private organizations and companies is to earn revenue and economic profit for their stockholders and they should keep this goal for a long time. Besides, the public or governmental organizations should also have a long life because of their mission and meanwhile they should improve their efficiency and effectiveness. There are several factors that influence on organizations and make them to change. Environment, among this factors, is the most important and has the greatest effect and has included different parts.This paper, has examined the different aspects of change and variability and has paid attention to a manufacturing company at Golestan Province and has considered the attributes and specifications of transformable organizations. Finally, has designed an operational model for evaluating and measuring the maturity of transformability and variability of this organization and has presented a questionnaire for evaluating this readiness and maturity.
