Investigating the relationship between control source and achievement motivation of high school teachers in District 1 of Zahedan
The present study was conducted to investigate the relationship between control source and achievement motivation of secondary school teachers in District 1 of Zahedan. The method of the present study was descriptive-survey correlation. The statistical population of this study is all high school teachers in District 1 of Zahedan in the academic year of 1995-96. In this study, a simple random sampling method was used. Based on Morgan table, a total of 201 high school teachers in District 1 of Zahedan were selected as the sample. Their reliability was calculated by Cronbach's alpha method as 0.81 and 0.84, respectively. The results showed that the source of control and motivation for progress is one of the factors that is effective in the behavior and performance and motivation of teachers and there was a positive and significant correlation between the source of control and motivation for progress at the level of 99%. Therefore, it can be concluded with 99% confidence that there was a positive and significant correlation between the source of control and motivation for progress.
