Immortality in the hell

One of the Islamic beliefs is immortality in hereafter. Muslims believe that every virtuous men will have eternal life in hereafter; but the important question is, if unbelievers will be eternal; If so, where, how and with torture? There are different opinions among Muslim scholars in this respect: a. those who believe in immortality in hell with torture, b. those who say that they will be free from hell and hell will be destroyed, and c. those who divide between unbelievers and say those who try to get the truth but they cannot get it, they will not be eternal in hell, on the other hand those who do not try, will be eternal in hell with torture. After surveying the proofs of these three groups, critiques, and responses to the critiques, the first view point will be the conclusion which is the eternity of unbelievers in the hell.
