Development of Rural Tourism Development Strategies Using SWOT - QSPM Combined Analysis (Case Study: Fahraj Village, Yazd Province)
Rural tourism is considered as a process in rural development that by creating complementary agricultural activities, can provide the basis for rural economic and environmental development in terms of increasing income, employment and sustainable rural livelihoods that improve the quality of life and balanced distribution and Provides appropriate services and facilities in the framework of regional and local development. The purpose of this study is to identify internal and external factors and provide appropriate strategies for the development of rural tourism in Fahraj village using a combined analysis of SWOT and QSPM, which is a descriptive-analytical method. At first, with the help of a questionnaire, the required information was collected from tourists. In the analysis process, matrices of evaluation of internal factors, which show the unfavorable situation of internal factors, and matrices of evaluation of external factors, which show that rural tourism has been able to take advantage of opportunities and avoid threats, have been used. Is. Then, using the internal-external factor matrix of the best strategy, the strategies of the WO group were identified. Finally, a quantitative strategic planning matrix was used to prioritize the WO Group strategies.
