Explaining of a Design Developing in Historical Fabrics with Culture Led Regeneration Approach (Case study: Ghanbar Ali Beyg neighborhood )
This research with an interdisciplinary approach and with a cultural perspective on the one hand, and on the other hand with a regenerative approach, seeks to link the cultural view and regeneration in urban historical fabrics. This research is a descriptive-analytical approach based on "Grounded theory" technique and to understand the pattern of Culture-led regeneration, interviews were conducted with a number of current residents, former residents and those familiar with the situation in "Ghanbar Ali Beyg" neighborhood in "Lar" city in the south of Fars province. The data obtained from the observations and interviews was analyzed using MAXQDA 2018 software with triple coding. In the first level of categorization, 10 categories were defined. In the second level, with the help of the statements obtained from the interview, 49 conceptual spectrums and finally 10 important categories have been obtained. The final categories to develop a culture-led regeneration framework are: attachment to the homeland and interest in preserving it, eventfulness, Demographic change in ethnicity along with the social adaptation of new and indigenous inhabitants, the prevalence of trade in the neighborhood, maintain the tradition of daily use of water, preservation of identity and memories, distribution the culture of Larestan and help the cultural economy of the city, dissatisfaction with the physical condition, incompatible change of use with the historical identity of the fabric, unity and empathy between residents and former residents and the final category is the continuity of living and cultural unity of the neighborhood.
