Landslide Hazard Evaluation and Zoning with Fuzzy Logic(Case Study: Saraju River Basin)
Preparation and risk reduction in natural disaster management requires geological information. In this regard, it is necessary to assess the landslide probability for a region that is landslide susceptible due to its geographical situation and construction projects. It is therefore necessary to evaluate the potential for landslides in a region that is landslide susceptible due to its geographic location and construction projects. Due to the growing use of multi criteria decision making in zoning and landslide probability, the present study used fuzzy models in combination with GIS. Fuzzy membership maps were produced In order to evaluate landslide probability, and GIS tools and convergence statistical analysis were used to evaluate the importance of each landslide and produce landslide hazard zoning maps. Results indicate that Matching Gamma maps regions with high landslide risk were 2461 hectares which require soil conservation and watershed management studies.
