Designing and manufacturing of residential food waste processing unit to compost fertilizer
Millions of tons of municipal waste are produced annually, and most of the waste are produced in household. Half of the contents of the residential waste can be recycled. As stated, the most important waste management strategies in the world are the reduction in production at source. Today, waste management is considered as an investment in the world, not cost. It is also a policy of the Ministry of Agriculture and the waste management organization of our country to replace the biological fertilizers and fertilizer instead of chemical fertilizers with the aim of increasing the organic matter in agricultural lands and fertilizing the land. The proposed device uses the combination of oxygen, moisture, heat and additives for the conversion of food waste to natural fertilizer. Unlike the traditional composting system, families can use this device throughout the year and even remotely control their device when installing software on the mobile device. It should be noted that the production of natural fertilizers in this machine is done completely and without interference. At the beginning, by separating the food waste from other waste, it is poured into a machine with a capacity of 10-20 kg. Then add the microorganism material that facilitates the process of decomposition of the material to the device. The machine is equipped with a rotating blade to the inside of the machine as well as a fan that is fitted to the desired oxygen machine. It also accelerates degradation by increasing the internal temperature of the device.
