The concept of action in Nahj ol-Balaghah

In the noble book of Nahj ol-Balaghah, Imam Ali has provided deep and instructive knowledge for the Taliban of the perfection of humanity. One of these rich concepts is the concept of mystical action. It can be said that the first and most basic step that the seeker must pay attention to in order to attain the right is to perform the acts of worship. Through action, the seeker purifies the soul so that the vessel of his existence can find the ability to comprehend something as great as the Lord of the worlds. From the point of view of Nahj ol-Balaghah, action can be divided into two types of outward and inward actions, the sincere performance of each of which is intended to be a light-filled compound for the seeker to reach home. Some of the most important mystical practices in Nahj ol-Balaghah are: prayer, fasting, asceticism, piety, avoiding lying and absenteeism, etc.
