Investigating the Relationship Between Organizational Affiliation and Librarians' Tendency to Create and Share Knowledge inPublic Libraries of Hamedan Province
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between organizational affiliation and the tendency to create and share knowledge among public librarians.
The research was conducted by correlation method in terms of applied purpose. The research population was librarians of public libraries in Hamadan province that sampling was done by census method. Data were collected using a questionnaire of organizational belonging questionnaire Shuffle, Baker and Salanova (2003) and knowledge creation and sharing Hemmati (2010) and its analysis was performed using SPSS software version 21.
The status of the components of organizational belonging (mean = 88.88), knowledge creation (mean = 22.59) and knowledge sharing (mean = 18.32) is above average. Also, there is a significant relationship between the sense of organizational belonging and librarians' tendency to create (sig = 0.001 and r = 0.672) and knowledge sharing (sig = 0.001 and r = 0.646).
According to the findings, it can be said that organizational affiliation as one of the dimensions of organizational culture is an important component and the basis for the tendency to create and share knowledge of librarians and public libraries can strengthen Dimensions of organizational belonging such as vitality, sacrifice, fascination and fascination cause librarians to tend to create and share knowledge and to create and share knowledge in order to provide better services.
