Analyzing Rene Gunon and Titus Burckhardt's views on sacred art and Islamic art

In historical periods and in different geographies of this earth, art has shown its influence in promoting different religions to nations. Art has always been criticized from the point of view of philosophers and thinkers of the era, and according to the multitude of religions and the way of thinking of thinkers, it has gone through different theoretical bases. From the point of view of traditionalists, art is considered to be an art that can be developed and improved by human beings, which can come out of the form of art for art's sake and step in line with tradition and religious and mystical teachings, so that it can lead man to unity in any form and form. make Traditionalists presented different ideas about art, which were in agreement with each other in most of the ideas. In this research, the opinions of Rene Guenon and Titus Burckhardt are analyzed from the point of view of the art that takes a step towards sacred art and religious art and among the religions that benefited from the teachings of Islam in the Islamic period, and finally In order to achieve a sacred art in Islamic art, we must pay attention to the roots of art in Islamic lands and by placing this theme with Islamic teachings, we can take a step towards a sacred art. This research is a library research that has been used according to the books and articles that have been published on this topic and it describes and analyzes the opinions of these two traditionalist thinkers of the 20th century in the field of art.
