Geopolitical developments in Southwest Asia, challenges and strategies of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Abstract:
This research, with a strategic approach in the field of geopolitical developments in the Southwest Asian region, has investigated the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the Republic of Iran and has presented strategies to ensure the security and national interests of Iran. Therefore, the main question of this study is, what are the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats and effective strategies of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the current geopolitical developments in the Southwest Asia region? In this research, effective strategies for the Islamic Republic of Iran in facing the geopolitical developments of the region are presented through a specific process using the SWOT method. According to the findings of the research, the presented strategies are: de-escalation and confidence building strategy, strategy to counter the American presence and influence, stabilization strategy, regional liberation strategy, strategy to counter isolation and securitization of Iran, regional crisis management strategy and role strategy. creation
