Obstacles and factors hindering the production of science from the perspective of Imam Khamenei
The Islamic Republic of Iran started a new season of its life at the beginning of the forty-second year of the Islamic Revolution. Obviously, for the implementation and continuation of the revolution's ideals and realization of its goals, which are defined in the statement of the second step of the revolution, we need the emergence of abilities, formalities, and scientific capabilities that match our goals and ideals. Therefore, the explanation of significant issues and problems in the production of science becomes relevant. The present article has identified the most critical obstacles and factors preventing science production from Imam Khamenei's perspective. The forward research is applied in terms of purpose and mixed in terms of nature, and by using the thematic analysis method, all the statements and writings from Imam Khamenei's point of view from 1368 to 1400 have been studied. According to the findings of the research, the most significant obstacles and factors preventing the production of science are translation (the priority of translation over authorship), westernization, scientism, imitation, materialism, dependent culture, lack of free-thinking, immorality, dominance system, contentment with the status quo, de-identification, void of Islamic theorizing, passivity and lack of attention from the government.
