Predicting the Emotional Atmosphere of the Family in Students based on Perceived Tension and Spontaneous Thoughts in the era of Corona
The aim of the current research was to predict the emotional atmosphere of the family in students based on perceived stress and spontaneous thinking in the era of Corona. The statistical population in this research is all the students of Isfahan Islamic Azad University in the academic year 1400-1401. The sample size was determined using the formula of Fidel and Tabaknik (2007) at least 186 people with available sampling method. In this research, in addition to demographic information, three questionnaires were also used to collect information; Perceived stress scale (Cohen, Kamarek and Mermelstein, 1983), spontaneous thoughts (Holon and Kendall, 1980), family emotionality (Hillburn, 1964) were used. After collecting the questionnaires in the descriptive data section, mean, standard deviation and Pearson correlation and simultaneous regression were used in the inferential statistics section. There is a negative and significant relationship between the emotional atmosphere of the family with spontaneous thinking and perceived tension. Also, the results of the simultaneous regression show the confirmation of the research hypothesis that perceived tension and spontaneous thinking contribute to predicting the emotional atmosphere of students\' families during the Corona era. According to the results obtained, it is suggested that universities and government institutions hold training workshops in the field of self-recognition and control of thinking, training classes for the necessary awareness of parenting to create a healthy and safe emotional family environment for children, and teaching stress management and coping strategies in hold a critical period such as Corona.
