Abstract:
Wisdom and love are two basic topic in Shah Nimatullah Wali’s poems. From Wali’s point of view love is such a divine gift placed in human’s inside. It is a medium to arrive to integrity and luck. The basic idea in Shah Nimatullah Wali’s doctrine is intuition, not logic. Pantheism is reflected frequently in his speech that is under the influence of Ibn Al- Arabi’s thoughts. Shah Wali disagree with materialistic nous and thrift like Attar Neishabury. He belives that wisdom can’t comprehend with love, and it is an abstacle (hijab) to arrive to cognition and true love. On the contrary, he belives that the Universal Intelect ( Aghl-e Kolli) is vicar of God. He worships it and belives that the Universal Intelect as the first creature acts as a collaborator for love. As a result, he confirms that Wisdom is combined to love and mystical madness and there is no conflict between them.
