The Role and Responsibility of Mass Media in the Management of Corona Disease
Communication media, while increasing the flexibility of individuals, increases the level of their adaptability to new situations and reduces the adherence of individuals to traditions opposed to modern society and the tendency of society from conventional to rational action, and the expansion of democracy, the public sphere. And provides civil society. The corona virus has created a situation in which distance from humans, distance from nature, and distance from objects have become a social imperative, and communication in real space, or in other words, physical-natural space, has been disrupted. This research has been done using descriptive and analytical methods. And it sought to answer the question of which communication technology features the post-Corona space on social media highlighted, and the weakness of our media in dealing with the Corona due to our lack of knowledge of which of these features. In this study, first, the dimensions of the background during the corona and post-corona were dealt with socially. Then the needs, do's and don'ts, the duties of universities and scientific centers, the duties of governments were discussed. Finally, the responsibility of the media to deal with the epidemic of the virus was explained. In this regard, it can be claimed that the atmosphere formed after Corona in social networks has fully shown the interactive nature and media aggregation. Therefore, if these social networks serve the correct and timely information to the people in a coordinated and integrated manner, the biggest role to control the spread of the corona virus and reduce its potential damage.
