Zionist media diplomacy towards Iran over the martyrdom of Haj Qassem Soleimani; Case study: Haaretz, Jerusalem Post and Israel News Agency

The present study seeks to investigate the media diplomacy of the Zionist regime towards the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the martyrdom of Haj Qassem Soleimani in order to be able to identify and analyze the approaches of the media diplomacy of the Zionist regime towards the Islamic Republic of Iran.. The researcher has tried to analyze the influential media of the Zionist regime by using the method of qualitative content analysis. The research population is the three main media of Haaretz, Jerusalem, Post and Israel-Hume, which have been studied in two periods of martyrdom and the anniversary of the martyrdom of Sardar Soleimani (for 20 days) as a purposeful sampling method. The results of this study indicate that the main approaches of Zionist regime diplomacy towards the Islamic Republic of Iran include negative representation of Sardar Soleimani's personality and performance in the world, highlighting the news of the Islamic Republic of Iran's influence in the region and its consequences, preparing public opinion to reduce the consequences of possible revenge.
