Public Participation and Development Foundations in Development Cooperatives and Urban Development in Semnan

The main purpose of this study was to explain and develop effective strategies for public participation and development foundations in urban development and development cooperatives with a social entrepreneurial approach. The present study has been quantitative in terms of method, applied in terms of purpose and survey in terms of data collection method. The statistical population of this study consists of 4 cooperatives in 4 cities of the province. 384 people were selected by stratified random sampling. Data were collected using a researcher-made questionnaire. Its validity was measured and confirmed by content validity and structural validity to examine the components of the questionnaire and its reliability was confirmed using Cronbach's alpha test. In order to analyze the data, structural equation modeling test under software (SMART PLS2) was used. The results showed that each of the dimensions of the Development Cooperative Development Foundation (social, economic and environmental dimensions) and the dimensions of public participation (sense of social belonging, solidarity and social interaction, citizens' satisfaction with life, gender and education) depend on the variable (performance of development companies and Urban development) is effective with a social entrepreneurship approach. Therefore, it is suggested that they use the role of each of their dimensions and subsets in order to develop and explain the performance of urban development and construction companies.
