Abstract:
Introduction & Objective

 

This study was conducted to explain and identify the components of staff empowerment of Ardabil University of Medical Sciences.

Methodology

The present study is descriptive and survey-applied in terms of methodology. The statistical population of the study consisted of all employees working in Ardabil University of Medical Sciences who are working in 2019, numbering 7319 people. From this number, 380 people were selected using Morgan table and stratified random sampling method appropriate to the volume. The data of this study were obtained using a researcher-made questionnaire. Descriptive (frequency, mean, standard deviation) and inferential statistics (confirmatory factor analysis, one-sample t-test and Friedman test) SPSS24 were used to analyze the data. It was reported using Cronbach's alpha (0.96).

Results

The results of the analysis of the obtained data showed that the factor structure of the questionnaire of empowerment components of the observed correlations is significant and the model has a good fit.

Conclusion

In general, the results showed that the four components of empowerment (individual, interpersonal, organizational and technical) are approved from the perspective of employees and the value of t-statistic showed that the components of empowerment in Ardabil University of Medical Sciences from the perspective of case study The results obtained from Friedman test also showed that the value of Chi 2 (1068.817) statistics regarding the position and importance of each of the empowerment components from the perspective of Ardabil University of Medical Sciences staff is significant at a confidence level of 0.95. Accordingly, the highest rank is related to the organizational component and the lowest rank is related to the technical component.
