A Model of dynamics group among university departments: Grounded Theory Approach

Abstract:

The present study seeks to provide a pattern for group dynamics of departments of Kurdistan University. The research method was qualitative and grounded theory approach (systematic approach) was applied. Purposive sampling method and grounded theory systematic approach were used in this research. Participants were selected based on the rule and principle of theoretical saturation and included 28 faculty members and heads of departments of Kurdistan University. Data collection tool was a semi-structured interview. The data were analyzed using MAXQDA 12 software in three stages of open coding, axial coding and selective coding. Data validation was performed through verification method done by participants.The data coding results consisted of 33 general categories, which were compiled and presented at the university in the form of a paradigm model including the following: causal conditions , central phenomenon ,contextual conditions (governing context), mediating or intervening conditions and group dynamics consequences ers; organizational agility and higher education system.
