Meta-Synthesizing the Relationship Between the Circular Economy and Entrepreneurial Ecotourism

The need to change the economic system to ensure that it does not exceed environmental limits creates many efforts to address sustainability issues. In this context, the circular economy model is expanding at the political, commercial, and academic levels. Therefore, the main goal of the current research is to identify the factors affecting the realization of entrepreneurial ecotourism based on a circular economy. In this regard; 152 articles were identified from the authoritative Google Scholar database, and after applying various filters, 14 articles that were most related to the topic in terms of title, abstract, methodology, and text were selected and analyzed using a Meta-synthesis approach. 62 open codes were counted in the form of 7 core codes. The extracted classes were presented in three stages: pre-travel (empowerment and value creation), during travel (technological and bio-oriented), and post-travel(recycling and sustainability).
