Investigating the impact of organizational learning capacity on organizational effectiveness and creativity of teachers and principals of elementary schools in Farashband city

Abstract:

Introduction and goal:

Organizational learning ability is the organization's ability to learn from its experiences and transfer them across time and boundaries. An organization improves through its ability to learn. The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of organizational learning capacity on the organizational creativity and effectiveness in Farashband Elementary schools’ principal and teachers.

Research methodology

The research method in this research was a descriptive correlational type. The statistical population of the research included all teachers and principals of primary schools in Farashband city, the number of teachers is 178 and the number of principals is 49, and the sample size studied was based on the census.

Findings

The research instruments were organizational learning capacity, organizational effectiveness and organizational creativity questionnaires. Item analysis and Choronbach’s alpha were used to assess validity and reliability. In order to analyze data , Pearson correlation coefficient and a multivariable regression were used simultaneously .

Findings

The results show that there’s a direct and meaningful relationship between organizational learning capacity with teachers and principals effectiveness ,and each one of the organizational learning capacity’s components (management commitment, knowledge transfer and it’s integration) has a different contribution to predict organizational creativity of teachers and principals of Elementary school teachers. Organizational learning capacity has a positive and meaningful impact on teachers and principals effectiveness of Farashband elementary schools .Based on research findings, we conclude that the high organizational learning capacity, the higher the effectiveness and creativity will be.

Conclusion

Organizational learning capability is considered as organizational and management characteristics or factors that facilitate the organizational learning process or enable the organization to learn. And it can most likely cause creativity and effectiveness.
