Abstract:

The digitalization of today's world is closely intertwined with the development of artificial intelligence (AI). The importance of establishing standards for this technology has grown significantly due to the challenges associated with generative AI and the increasing popularity of GPT chat. Active international participation in standardizing AI facilitates the acceptance of different countries' perspectives. As highlighted by the G7 members, it is crucial for AI standards to align with their shared democratic values. This study aims to investigate international standards of AI by categorizing them based on domain, application, scope, topic, type of standard, development stage, and the international standardization organization. It is essential to consider the lack of synchronization between national standards and global trends, as well as the necessity of developing standards that meet the real sector of the economy's needs. These factors should be taken into account for the future development of AI standards.
