Forecasting in the Iranian teacher education by passing from the past to the present and the future

Teacher education curriculum as the heart of academic centers has a prominent place in the realization of the goals of the teacher education organization, so it must evolve in line with various technological, economic and scientific developments similar to the developed countries. Therefore, the present study was conducted with the aim of future studies in teachers’ training. The research method was Future studies, of the Horizon Scanning and its information was collected and analyzed by referring to internal and external databases, books, documents and researches. The results indicated that for the rapid growth of scientific developments in the world and the everyday needs of the society, providence in educational programs is indispensable. One of the implications of training of people who can cope with the crises they face and optimally exploit the opportunities that will arise in a changing world is futuristic planning in teacher education. Planning in this area should not only be a prescription for the treatment of existing injuries and problems, but should also be able to handle future threats and educational concerns with preventive approaches and to outline roles for future teacher education.
