This research analyzes the content of physics textbooks for technical and professional branches and work and knowledge (technical physics) in terms of readability. Type of research is applied and it was done in a descriptive-analytical method. In order to determine the readability level of the technical physics book, Gunning, Flash and McLaughlin quantitative content analysis methods were used. The statistical population of the research is the entire content of the book of technical physics and the samples are randomly selected. By reviewing the preliminary results of the research by professors of Persian literature and physics, the validity of the final results was confirmed. The results indicate that the readability of the book according to Gunning method is at the level of the first years of university and according to the methods of McLaughlin, it is around the eleventh grade. Also, the Flash method in terms of the class level of the technical physics textbook at the eleventh-grade level. In terms of the average number of syllables in one hundred words and the average length of sentences, the Flash method predicts the book to be suitable for the final years of university. In fact, the methods used in this article determine the level of readability of the technical and professional physics book higher than the 10th grade level. Therefore, according to the goals of the technical-professional education system, the characteristics of the learners of this system and the role of textbooks in achieving the intended educational goals, it is suggested that the readability level of the content of the technical physics book be reviewed.
