Block chain in command and control

Command and control system includes a variety of computer and communications equipment that is used to facilitate decision-making and management of the theater. In this system, the process of collecting, processing and continuous dissemination of environmental information and establishing and maintaining communication between members is of great importance. This information provides a good picture for the command to organize, direct, coordinate and control the forces. Because of the vitality and sensitivity of this information, fast, accurate, and transparent transfer of commands down the control chain and vice versa requires a secure and reliable infrastructure. The use of new technologies such as blockchain can solve many security risks and challenges of this system. A blockchain is a decentralized database that ensures information security in an insecure environment using advanced encryption. In this article, while reviewing this emerging technology, its role in providing security and accelerating the execution of command and control missions is examined. The findings of this study show that this technology, with its advantages such as speed in identifying objectives, the possibility of simultaneously pursuing all objectives, processing, integrating and displaying information, rapid and automatic information exchange, can reduce operational error, high reliability, fast response And reduce delays and interruptions in command and control systems.
